On this date in 1990… the Dead kicked off their last stand of the Summer 1990 tour. Sadly, it would be Brent's last run.

  • It had been a couple of weeks since the last pairing of Scarlet & Fire

  • On 7/16 in Buffalo, a stellar energetic Scarlet Begonias bled into Women R Smarter, leaving many listeners on edge and unfulfilled

  • This 24-minute version is tight and clean and features some nice interplay between Brent and Jerry
